FULL LENGTH PERSONALITY:
Carlisle Cullen is an immensely compassionate person. During the time of his human life, there was a lot of prejudice going on with witch hunts and persecution, from which Carlisle learned the importance of just persecution and fair trials.

FULL LENGTH HISTORY:
Carlisle Landon Cullen was born in the year 1640 to a Mr.Edgar Cullen and a Mrs.Willow Cullen. His father, Edgar was an angelic priest and Carlisle grew up with very high religious values. When Carlisle's father became too old to take care of the church, Carlisle assumed the position for a short while.
In the year 1663, Carlisle was attacked by a vampire and left to die in the night. Carlisle still had his wits about him, so he found a place to hide himself from the town, which happened to be a potato cellar.
After Carlisle's painful transformation from human to vampire was complete, he realized that the urge for human blood was so strong that he could barely bear it, so he hid from civilization in attempts to keep humanity safe from the monster he had become. Upon his choice to abstain from human blood, he became very "ill." In the woods he hid in, he spent his time studying and one day, came across a heard of deer, deciding that rather than drinking blood from a human, maybe he could possibly sustain his thirst with blood from an animal.
Upon making his discovery, Carlisle swam to France, and then made his way through Eastern Europe. He found that he was not the only vampire around and joined the Volturi for a period of time, trying to teach them his way of preserving human life and still satisfying the appetite. Upon realizing that neither party would budge in this specific arguement, Carlisle made his way to the "new world"
Carlisle's studying paid off and he became a doctor in Ohio. In the year 1911 he treated Esme, when she was sixteen and fell out of a tree and broke her leg. In the year 1918 when the Spanish Influenza became a pandemic, Carlisle was very alone. He worked the night shift in a hospital in Chicago after leaving Ohio. He found a companion when he changed Edward, when he was nearly dead.
Later, Carlisle and Edward went back to Ohio. Carlisle saved Esme after he found that she jumped off a cliff and was wheeled off to the morgue. He detected a heartbeat, and saved her the way he saved Edward. Through vampirism. A few short years later, Carlisle and Esme wed.
In the year 1933, Carlisle came across a nearly dead Rosalie Hale in Rochester NY, and saved her as well. Later, he welcomed Emmett McCarty into their home and family after he was mauled by a bear and saved by Rosalie, and then after that welcomed Alice and Jasper to their family.
In 2002, Carlisle and his family moved to Forks Washington, starting a new life and he began work as a doctor there. Six years later and they're still living there now with a new human addition to their family, Bella.

The Personality
- Esme Anne Cullen. "Esme is my everything. So many years of being alone lead me to believe that that's how I was going to stay. Until the day I saved Esme. I simply couldn't not save her. And miraculously, she loves me as well."
- The Cullen "kids". "My adoptive "children" mean the world to me. In this long and potentially lonely life, they're here for me. It's nice to know that they look up to me, and come to me when they need me. I never had the chance to be a parent. My human life was far too short. But, I feel like because of them, I'm not missing my human life. I'm not pining for it back. I'm very happy to have such companions; friends."
- Helping people. "My whole life I'd had a certain pull that made me help people. I've always felt like it was my job. Something I could do well, which is why working in the hospital seemed like a good thing for me to do. Especially now what with my enhanced senses. I can properly diagnose someone with something that a human doctor wouldn't be able to detect. I love the feeling I get when I save a life that wouldn't have been able to be save without my aid."
- Reading. "In my long life, I've had a lot of free time on my hands with nothing to do. It was books that kept me company. I spent a great deal of time studying. Then, became a doctor because I wanted to learn to help people. Because of the reading I did, I was able to do just that."
- Baseball. "Baseball is my favorite sport in the whole world. I'd much rather play a rousing game of baseball than sit inside and watch it on the television."
DISLIKES:
- Vampires the feed on humans. "Though I understand the sheer difficulty of trying to not feed on humans, I don't understand why they still do it. No one seems to care that humans don't deserve to die at the hands of such creatures. It's murder. Which, is still a crime. If there is a way around killing humans and still sustain the hunger then why take human lives unnecessarily?"
- "Though it probably shouldn't bother me, it pesters me to no end when my "children" fight. It's firstly, really annoying. Secondly, we're a family. There is absolutely no need to harbor resentment toward one another."
- Television. "This is one of those things I could take or leave. I don't care for the television when everything you can get from television you can also get in other ways. However, I've occasionally been known to watch football, simply because I can't resist. Emmett got me hooked."
- "Vengeance. "Through out my time and specifically, since Bella has been in our family, we've had to deal with this a lot. James, who spitefully decided to try to kill Bella, was vengeful, as was his mate Victoria, when she attempted to avenge him. It's another one of those things that I simply don't understand. A smart man once said - an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
- Arrogance. "This one is self explanatory. I simply don't have tolerance for arrogance."
STRENGTHS:
- Avoiding the temptation of human blood. "After as long as I lived, and living solely off of animal blood, it became a lot easier to resist the urge to crave for human blood. Especially when I decided that I wanted to be a doctor and reach the next level of helping people. Now, I've become almost immune to the scent."
- Leading a coven. "My whole life, I've been a strong leader. Something that I learned from my father. Something I grew up doing. I know how to resolve problems between people and those things became helpful towards the ever growing coven that I seem to lead. It's nice to have a place of peace and comfort with many different people and many different stories and we can all live contently. Those are the kinds of things I strive for."
- Forgiveness. "I was brought up to believe that people were born sinful, everyone makes mistakes and I've always been able to forgive someone as long as I know that they're apologetic. I rarely contest an apology. I may have done it once or twice in my entire life."
- Sympathy and compassion.
WEAKNESSES:
- Being enforceful. "I'm not very good at laying down the law. However, when someone crosses the line, I know how to tell them. But, I've never been one to punish or to make someone feel bad for something they've done."
- Denying someone help. "There have been times when people needed me to help, and I simply can't do it. I always feel very guilty. Things like that end up weighing on my mind."

SAMPLE POST:
Zoey Redbird was beyond sick of herself. Why was she so good at driving away all of her loved ones? All these things that had been happening to her, hadn't been her fault. She had been tricked into betraying Erik, tricked into lying to Damian, Erin and Shaunee. She had so much on her hands these days.
She sat at the window ledge, petting her best friend -who happened to be a cat, Nala. Nala meowed up at Zoey crankily. What a bitter old cat Nala was.
She soon found herself speaking to Nala, telling her all the problems that were weighing on her conscience. She felt insane. The cat couldn't solve her problems. Zoey couldn't even fix her problems herself. No one could fix the path of disaster that Zoey was on, like a tornado.
The worst of her problems though, which was greater than any magic issues or the fact that her friends hated her or even worse than the fact that Neferet was probably going to kill her. Her greatest problem was the fact that Erik was gone. She'd never get to apologize to him. He was a full grown vampyre now. He was no longer a fledgling at the House of Night. He could be anywhere anywhere in the whole world, and there was nothing she could do about it. She couldn't go looking for him - what good would that do? He would never want her back. He was technically an "adult" now, and she was still a level three vampyre.
She missed everything about him. She missed his deep blue eyes and his glossy black hair. She missed the feeling of his strong arms around her. She missed the taste of his lips against hers. A single tear dripped down Zoey's face and landed on her jeans.
Nala meowed loudly, making Zoey jump. Nala hopped back into the room and Zoey decided to go sit on the roof. It was a beautiful night, the midnight blue sky was illuminated by full moon. That was probably the reason Nala was acting odd.
Zoey ducked out the window sitting on the rough roof, leaning back against the wall. She stared up into the blue night. Night. Erik's last name. The sky was the color of his eyes. There was nothing she wouldn't do to have him back, at this point.
Desperation filled her throat. Making it hard to breathe. No one liked her here anymore. Maybe she could go find Erik?
Wait, no! she mentally reprimanded herself.
She had responsibilitys to the House of Night. How would it look if a High Priestess of Nix abandoned the school? She'd surely die if she was away from the house too long, but she couldn't leave. She couldn't.
She had priorities. Help me! she thought. Oh great goddess Nix, please if you can hear me, help me. I need your words right now. I need you to help me decide what's right when I'm so torn between my options.
A cold breeze blew, resulting in a shudder. Suddenly there was a woman beside Zoey, and she recognized this beauty at once. Nix. Nix had answered her. Zoey smiled at the beautiful goddess as another breeze blew by waving Nix's har all around her beautiful face.
"Hello my cherokee daughter. I hear you need help."
Zoey nodded. "Nix, I'm stuck I don't know what to do. I desperately want to find Erik. I want him back I want to apologize to everyone I've hurt, I want to fix everything. I want everything but I can't make all those things happen at once. I can barely even make one of those things happen at a time. I need your help Nix." Zoey was in tears now, stressed by the situation.
Nix reached out smoothing Zoey's hair. "Don't worry my daughter. I'm sorry to say that I can't make your decisions for you. But, what ever you decide to do, I will stay with you. I've given your gifts for a reason Zoey Redbird. You know what to do. I must leave now, but here daughter. Here is a turquiose necklace for your protection where ever you go."
Nix clasped the necklace around Zoey's neck. "One more thing, my daughter.." Nix began "I want you to open your eyes. Wake up. Goodbye daughter, do the right thing."
Zoey was confused for a second, but she realized she must have been dreaming. She listened to her goddess Nix, and opened her eyes. She found herself back on her bed it was light outside. Which meant she was still supossed to be sleeping. The window was open. That's where the draft had come from.
She had to admit, she was a little let down that it was all a dream and that she hadn't really seen Nix. She sighed and reached up to her neck.
The necklace Nix had given her was there.
It was a dream, but it was also so real.
Zoey knew what she had to do and a sense of great relief came with that.
