FULL LENGTH PERSONALITY:
Alice has always been full of vigor since the day she became a newborn. In her past life she was more solum and reserved but that was mainly due to the nature of the life in which those people lived back then. For her time she was rather outgoing.
Over the years she has gotten cheerier, the more time she spent with her family and Jasper, and when Bella came into their lives she cheered up all the more. This was mainly to prove to Bella that they were all for having a human amongst them, when Rosalie was sending out negativity every two seconds.
Today she still remains the same, trying to reassure Bella that she is accepted even though her heart still beats, and she is friends with a werewolf. Alice has a constant need to reassure people by her feelings. Whenever she is around Jasper she is always calm and relaxed, he has that affect on everyone though.

FULL LENGTH HISTORY:
The birth of a child has been told to be the greatest day in the world for the parents who received that particular child. However for the parents of Marilyn Allison Brandon, it was not such a day. Of course they were thrilled with the idea of having a second daughter, she was the youngest by two years, the elder being Cynthia Brandon.
Reginald Brandon was a kind man to most, and the type of man who would not usually be little anyone, until he heard the news of his daughter two weeks after her birth. The doctors noted that she had been having problems- seizures to be more certain. To Reginald this was not just an incurable disease, but a potential downfall for trying to sell off his daughter later in life. The seizures were treated, and young Mary was put on medication for them to ensure that she did not have any more, though they still came. However, when she was eight, right after a seizure she would get a vision, and the visions worsened as the seizures got worse.
When the young girl was thirteen years old Reginald had had enough of the seizures, calling her the "demon child" and saying that she had the devil in her. Her mother slowly fell into his beliefs and after many "purges" by a local priest, the seizures still didn't stop, nor did the visions. And when she was fifteen, they sent her to an asylum. Reginald washed his hands of his daughter saying that if the devil wanted her, the devil could have her. He didn't want to spend more money and more time trying to raise an evil child. Cynthia had come back to the Asylum when she was older, sometimes with her mother, sometimes on her own {without Reginald knowing} and had wonderful visits with her sister. Mary had not gone crazy, nor was she inhabited by the devil. But this is where she stayed for Reginald paid the Asylum very well to keep her locked up.
When Mary was nineteen, she was sure by this time she would never be freed from that place and gave up all contact with her mother, knowing it was harder and harder for her mother to sneak out. Cynthia brought her daughter Marilyn by a few times, but only when she was really young. If she got too old to the point of talking, Reginald may find out and would have gotten very angry at both Cynthia and her mother. Mary understood, and she accepted the fact that her father didn’t like the idea of her illness, but she truly learned to despise him.
One night, when she was asleep in her bed, one of the attendants came to check on her as always, this particular worker had been watching her for many weeks, noting that her illness had gotten worse lately, and she now had pneumonia from the cold draft that went through her room. It was quick, and if she were able to have screamed she would of, but her mouth had been covered so only a muffled scream could be heard, and not from very far.
Unknown to her at the time, the vampire who had changed her, not only felt sorry for her, but was forced into it via a vampire named James. James, being the hunter that he was, heard that she was wanted by another, and was determined to be them too it, taking her for his own. Three days later, after smuggling her from the asylum the worker known to her as Matthew, sat by her side watching her change. Once changed he got her blood and told her who she was, and that she was no longer able to go by her previous name Marilyn Brandon. Mary Brandon was reported missing for three months, before papers considered her dead. In the meantime Matthew trained his newborn, helping her, calling her Alice, short for Allison, Mary’s middle name. For a year Alice had no last name, Matthew was killed only months after changing her. James had finally caught up with them, luckily Alice escaped him.
Alice was forced into a new life, free of all things she had ever known, most of it she had forgotten. For the first year on her own she stayed around her home - Biloxi, Mississippi. But altered her appearance greatly as to not be recognised. She also decided for the time being to take on her mother’s maiden name Carter, until a more suitable one came her way.
In 1948, Alice Mary Carter met a man whom she had been searching for over a course of many years, though she never really knew when she would meet him. Only a few years before did she discover her talent of seeing future events. Being the curious girl that she was, Alice saw herself meeting one Jasper Whitlock, also a vampire. The moment they did meet, it was as if she were complete. In that moment all her wandering and killing seemed to have finally meant something. To Alice, he was it, and he proved it. In 1950 the couple were married for the first and only time, Alice traded in her mother's maiden name for something a bit catchier. Mrs. Alice Mary Whitlock.
Also in 1950 the newly wed Whitlock's joined up with the Cullen Coven, at this time only being around for a few years as a coven. Carlisle Cullen- the leader, his wife- Esme Cullen, Esme's "brother" at the time Edward Masen, Carlisle's "brother" Emmett Cullen, and his newly wed wife, Rosalie Hale-Cullen. Alice and Jasper found that they got along well with these vampires, except for one difference. Up until this point both Alice and Jasper were fully fledged Nomadic Vampires {ie. They drank human blood}. With much time and effort Carlisle and the rest of the coven helped the two adjust to a "vegetarian" diet of animal blood. It took several months, but they were slowly weaned off human blood and only onto animal blood. Jasper had a harder time than Alice; he still to this day has hard time adjusting.
They had many lives as many different people, though most of the alias' were the same. She was known as Alice Cullen, adoptive daughter of Dr. Carlisle Cullen and Mrs. Esme Cullen when she met Bella Swan. Edward was her brother and Jasper had traded in Whitlock to become Rosalie's twin brother, Jasper Hale. She had one other brother- Emmett who seemed to fit in nicely as a brother. She hadn't been related to him in a while.
Edward fell in love with the human Bella, who soon became Alice's best friend, they got along great. Eventually, after much drama, Isabella Swan, became Isabella Cullen- the first human to marry into the family of Vampires.
Alice Cullen now lives in the same house as her adoptive family with Jasper, whilst the newly weds live in a cottage out back. Time has gone by, but a lot of the feelings still are the same between the shape-shifters and the Cullen’s. The feud has been tearing Bella apart, and despite all Alice tries to do to comfort her, she fears that Jacob Black and Edward Cullen may just be the end to Isabella Cullen.
Only time will tell what sort of ending the immortals all deserve after it is all said and done, and whether Bella becomes a vampire, she could honestly not say. The Future is always changing.

As Jane of the Volturi:
The smell of the wood, it was something that was ever so comforting, so peaceful most of the time. However over the last few centuries it had become something that grew less peaceful and more war ridden. Luckily since joining the Volturi, this young girl had only had one or two uncomfortable moments in this particular wood; though she did have a habit of venturing into other woods for frivolous torture.
Jane Devilli was one of the guard, a highly respected member of the Volturi, and in a matter of speaking, highly feared as well. This was something she was very proud of, very few vampires weren't scared of her, two being Aro and Alec, her dear father figure and twin brother. It was their nightly task as members of the guard to protect Volterra, and during the night when most people would be settling down for the night, was when any vampiric activity would take place. Of course there had been a few exceptions to that rule, but over all most vampires weren’t that gutsy and vouched for the cover of darkness.
Jane and Alec both lead their own parties of guard through separate sections of the wood, at certain intervals the two parties would meet up and decide whether to continue on separately or go together down a different path. It just so happened that Jane caught the whiff of unfamiliar vampires near by. Luckily for the guard, the vampires would soon be surrounded from all directions.
With hood covering her entirety she and the guard pursue the culprits very closely and swiftly as to not be noticed. As they neared the interval she knew only moments from now Alec's party would run into the vampires. Through her guard she managed to find out a basic identity to them both. Two girls, both were fairly new to vampiric activity, though one was especially new. Supposedly one can read minds of other people, how well they could read the mind was uncertain, but she was prepared at least. Jane blocked her mind as best as she could, changing her thought every three seconds to avoid giving the vampire time to figure out what was coming. Soon enough she smelt the familiar scent of her brother and then his party. They rarely worked alone, after all they were twins, they had done everything together from birth, it was unlikely they would stop any time soon now in their eternal afterlife.
Before long she got close enough to see Alec address the girls, one already looking scared out of her mind, and the other just seemed startled. "Good, they will be easy." She thought to herself before changing the topic in her head so that the mind reader could not catch what she thought.
She watched as the party under Alec moved in to surround the girls from one side, only five in his party though, therefore she positioned her five to follow suit and just as Alec spoke all ten surrounded the pair.
Jane simply let a wicked smile engulf her face whilst her visage went from alter to alluring. She was preparing herself for a good dose of fun. It had been a while since she had been able to torture anyone, and was ever so eager to see if they were worth her powers or not. After all, if you came to Volterra you always had to pay a visit to the Volturi. Whether to die, to live, you always had to go through them, that was the way of life for vampires in these parts, and it just so happened theses young girls were conveniently- in their jurisdiction.
Jane appeared out of the shadows, though she did not immediately take up alongside her brother, she rather preferred to stand her ground as of this current moment, she noticed they seemed to be so much more terrifying when one was on either side of the victims for some reason. Jane lived for fear, and she could already smell it. Her ruby iris' scanned the girls once over, they looked very young indeed, though still physically older than both her and her brother, not by much however.
Her eyes were all that could be seen from under the hood, which unlike Alec, she did not wish to reveal herself yet. She could be just as scary as a faceless voice, than as a girl with an angelic disposition.
"Yes, what might we do for you this night?" Jane asked politely, though like her brother she kept the voice dripping with a venomous tongue.
"No one dressed by me ever looks like an idiot."
