Jordan Hania Rieth was born to Aiyana and Songaa Rieth on July 19, 1989. His mother, Aiyana was eighteen when she gave birth to her son. His father was not exactly expecting to become a father at such a young age, but loved Jordan and his mother all the same and raised him to become a better man than he was. Songaa had made mistakes when he was younger and when he met Aiyana, he changed. He wanted Jordan to make his own mistakes. Jordan was given an english first name, but his parents kept his middle name along the lines of Quileute. Hania means 'Spirit Warrior' It was his great grandfather's first name.
Even thought the two parents were young they had a lot of support from their families and the community in the Quileute Reservation. Family was always important to everyone on the Rez, and as the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child.. well that definitely was the case with Jordan. Not long after he was born his parents married and moved into their own house not far from Aiyana’s parentsd home. His grandparents helped raise him as they were often over at the house so much.
Throughout the years he was told many of the Quileute Legends, one that he really loved as a child, that stuck with him was the Legend about the Wolf Chief and his sons and wives. To Jordan it was a cool concept, and he even used to pretend with his friends as kids that they were wolves running around dominating the Reservation.
During school, he was a pretty average kid, he had his fair share of detentions and pranks played. He wasn’t super smart, and tended to slack a bit in high school, but he did well enough to pass high school. Jordan was quick to make friends and had several all the way through school. He spent a lot of his free time hanging out at the cliffs doing small cliff jumps or wandering around town, once and a while going to Port Angeles to go to a movie, nothing fancy, but it was the life of a Rez boy. When he was fourteen he first fell in love, that took its toll eventually and he soon realised that life was better off living fun and free. He kept that motto and honestly still sees no reason to change it. Not to say he hadn’t had girlfriends and flings since then, but nothing was really good enough to call worth it.
When he was eighteen, he turned into a werewolf. It sort of freaked him out at first, but after a while the boys in the pack became his best friends. To start with the whole thing was too much, he had always loved pretending to be a wolf warrior, but when it actually came to the time of becoming one in real life it was a bit intimidating. Because of that he had alot of insicurities that Jacob and the other boys helped him through. Now he loves the feeling of running through the forest with the nothing but the dirt beneath the pads of his feet. He has to deal with Leah Clearwater, which all in all isn’t the best thing in the world, but she has been better lately then ever before, which Jordan is thankful for. He tends to spend alot of time with Jacob and Quil and Embry, all four of them seemed to connect well.
He is nineteen now and has been a wolf for just over a year now. He has no idea about what will happen, but everyone is preparing for the worst as usual, and Jordan is willing to die defending his people and his pack. So what ever is out there will have to brace themselves for the wrath of Jordan Rieth.
