He is a very tough individual. He likes to protect those close to him and will die protecting them. Jacob hates being betrayed, and if you do or attempt to betray him you had better watch out, because not only will you get one mean wolf after you, you will get ten. He is an alpha now after all, and they all will fight for their alpha and his beliefs.
To those who see his good side you will see nothing but a loveable teddy bear so to speak. He loves spending time with his friends and family so long as they don't bring up the repetitive feuds between him and his alpha Sam. Over all he is trying to put that whole thing behind him and only talks to him when nessisary. He and Sam are the leaders of the pack, so they need to get along to a certain extent, and for that much, he does. But if you stare at him long enough you will see the hint of misery in his eyes. Deep down Jake is still very hurt by Sam, and wanted more than anything for Sam to be chill with the idea of him having a bit more say in the Order department than he has right now.

FULL LENGTH HISTORY:
Jacob Akecheta Black was born to William and Sarah Black early in 1990. He was given the middle name Akecheta as it means 'Fighter'. Sarah always liked to instil the ideals of fighting for what one believed in into her children. Unfortunately when he was very young Sarah died. Thus leaving Billy to raise not only Jacob but his older twin sisters Rebecca and Rachel.
Jacob met Bella at First Beach about two months after she arrived in town, she was 6 and he was 4 and a half Bella Swan was shy,funny, a bit reserved and a girl he didnt find repulsive. He vaguely new the name now a days though. It was just a distant childhood memory...
His father Billy was actually friends with her father Charlie. However that was a strained friendship and he may have only met Bella at most four times before she died. They both were pretty young so it was hard to say if either of them really remembered each other... Charlie had transfered over to Forks for a few months to do a bit of Police work and managed to meet Billy. When Bella and Rene came to visit Charlie from Michigan, he took all of them to La Push to meet Billy and at the same time- Jacob. The two kids got along great for just meeting and they swore to each other they would be friends forever... but all kids do that don't they?
A lot had changed for Jacob since the time when he knew Bella Swan. He had become a very active kid in his community and was well liked by many people. Throughout his schooling years he had many a friend and girlfriend alike, however none really stuck longer than two months until he started dating Leah Clearwater.
Leah had been dating Sam Uley as a matter of fact, and that who thing ended when Sam imprinted on Emily. Thus Leah started hating basically everyone, including Jacob. But over time Jacob and Leah started to see their simularities as both of them started to despise Sam and his orders. About a year ago the two of them officially started to date, and Jacob swore to her that he would NEVER hurt her like Sam had. The two of them spent all their time together to start with but now they are able to actually see other people and plan times to be together and hang out and do what lovers do.
When Jacob was 16 he changed into a werewolf, a year later Leah did as well, that's when the whole thing made sense to her about Sam and Emily. Unfortunatly she tormented EVERYONE until she was was 20 and Jake was 18. That's when they started hooking up and getting to know one another, the guys hated the idea, more over Sam hated the fact that both of them couldn't stop thinking about each other on shift, it was enough to make him WANT the two of them to start their own pack... The wolves started changing when the Cullen's moved back into down in 2004 and since then they seem to have became a tourist attraction with other vampires as the wolves are frequently trying to kill themselves a vampire or two and often catching the ones they set off to kill.
Sam and Jacob were very close to seperating ways many times. The two are both very pack orientated and Alpha capable, and Jake is just getting sick of following Sam's orders all the time.Sam only cared about the people of La Push, and it sort of drove Jake crazy. Right now he really is debating leaving the pack to just wander, but thats only a thought he thinks of when he is human.

It was a very boring day for the young man as he wandered aimlessly through the halls, trying desperately to prolong his going to class. Not that it really mattered if he was late or not, he just had a study block, and pretty much that was his time to pranks, well prank prep anyway. He wasn't as divulged into pranks as some of his friends, Helena was all for them, and often spent time helping his father at the shop whilst Fred was off trying to figure out different and more brilliant ways to out smart his auror Uncle Harry.
Yes that was right, he wanted to become an Auror, much to his fathers displeasure. George seemed to think Fred should one day take on the family business, and yes, Fred did enjoy it, but wanted to do more in his life than invent pranks. For some reason he felt that by doing this he was letting his father down, but in a way, he was living it up for his Uncle Fred, whom if he had not been fighting in a war would still be alive today. So in a way Fred felt it necessary to defend people as his father and uncles had been doing for several years.
Duty and honour blah blah, that was what he was focussed on right now, but all in all he was still gladly making time for pranks. After all something had to keep him and Ryder Kensington busy when they weren’t being preoccupied by other things. But that was a whole different matter entirely.
Currently the boy had just finished sauntering the whole floor and wandered into the room and sank into the closest chair to the door, not really caring who he was beside or across from. Having his luck it was probably some Slytherin who he hated or visa versa. No matter he just flopped his head on the table and waited for something entertaining to happen.
