Edward watched Bella with her bit of fascination and her hand before she looked back at him. Edward knew she couldn’t help how the medication was affecting her, so he didn’t tease her on pick on her like he could have. Then again he wouldn’t have done that under normal circumstances. When she still had the look of deep concern on her face about her condition and state, Edward moved a bit of her hair out of her face, resting his hand there for a moment instead of cupping the side of her face since he knew it would be sore. “I promise you” Edward told her, smiling slightly as he looked down at her. Edward nodded when she said she liked his golden coloured eyes as well, “I’ve grown quite accustom to them as well.” Edward said.
Unlike most people, Bella’s dripping blood was not something he could exactly ignore, though it would have been nice. A couple of times when she drifted off to sleep while they were in the car Edward glanced over at her, smiling as he turned his eyes back to the road. Whenever she woke up from her little snippets of sleep he made conversation with her when she spoke with him. Some of it may have jumped around or not made too much sense, but he still followed the conversation in whatever way she took it. When they got to the house, he awaited her response before actually getting out of the car, “Okay” he said in response to her and got out of the seat and walked over to her side of the car. Waiting for her to open the door he stood a few feet away from the car. When she slid to the ground, he stepped up in front of her and crouched in front of her, a smiling threatening to appear on his lips, “How are you feeling Bella?” he asked her

Bella was aware of Edward watching her as she looked at her hand, but didn't say anything or seem bothered by it. Looking up at him when he brushed her hair away from her face, that she honestly hadn't been aware that it had been there to begin with, she could feel a few tears spilling down her cheeks and she felt childish for acting in such a way, but she couldn't exactly help it. "Okay." She said softly. When he told her that he had grown rather accustomed to his golden eyes as well she smiled, or well, as best she could.
If Bella was more aware at the moment, she would've felt very bad that he had to deal with the blood that was her own, and she would've also been more grossed out by it. Of course Bella wasn't really aware that she had kept falling asleep here and there, but she had a hard time remembering what they had even been talking about. She tried to talk to him but it was starting to become frustrating with the guaze in her mouth making it hard to talk. However, even in this state of mind, Bella was not about to take the guaze out of her mouth. She'd rather not see her own blood. Bella was rather surprised Edward allowed her to get out of the car by herself, but didn't comment on it. Looking up at Edward when she was on the floor she saw him crouch down in front of her and she couldn't help but noticing him struggle not to smile. "Fine. I think I may just sleep here though." She told him with a sigh as she moved to rest her head against the car. Not really sure if Edward could really understand her, not that she really cared right now.

Edward didn’t really mind the blood, it was something he could handle when he had to. He just remained at the point where he wasn’t completely trusting of himself with it came to the temptation that her blood was. Besides it wasn’t as if she could help it and he figured it wouldn’t last very long anyway. Every time she slipped into a bit of a slumber, Edward would glance over at her before looking back to the road and chuckling softly to himself. It wasn’t hard to tell that she was becoming frustrated with the difficulty of talking because of the gauze in her mouth so he reached over and placed his hand on her leg, at least until he had to shift gears.
He had no issue with her getting herself out of the car, since that was as far as he was planning on letting her go by herself. She seemed a bit tired to him since when she slipped to the ground, the wet ground, Bella didn’t get up which he suspected she would have had she been in a fully aware state of mind. When he crouched down in front of her, he didn’t last long with the smile off his face. “Your not going to sleep here Bella, the bed is a much better idea” he said and before she could put forth any sort of complaint he picked her up as gently as he could cradling her against his chest as he walked towards the door.
ooc: it sucks sorry

Bella knew that Edward's resistance for her blood was better, but she was sure that the thought of her blood and how it had tasted that one time he actually got to taste it, was always in the back of his mind. So she always made it as easy as she could for him. She trusted him though, to not injure her. If she didn't trust him with everything she had, she very much doubted that she would've even gotten together with him. A few times she had awoken to him laughing about something and she peered at him through barely opened eyes once, "What's so funny?" She asked in a somewhat irritated tone, though she wasn't sure how clearly the words had come out of her mouth. She hated that she couldn't speak properly. Attempting to swallow as her mouth felt dry, she could taste her own blood and that was far from pleasant. Making a sound of disgust she wished that she had something to drink right now to get the taste out of her mouth. Feeling his hand on her leg she peered at it briefly before she found herself drifting off again.
Honestly, right now Bella didn't care where she slept as long as she could just go to bed for a while. Though at the same time she was pretty hungry, having not been able to sleep for 12 hours prior to the surgery, which had been hard. Looking up at Edward as he came closer to her she followed him with tired eyes as he crouched down at her level to look at her. She noticed the smile on his face and a brief, pathetic excuse for a smile came to her lips. "I'm fine right here." Bella stated with a sigh, however before she could protest against him picking her up she was up in his arms. Funny, she hadn't noticed him even reach out towards her. "Hey, not fair." Bella complained weakly, though she couldn't help but rest her head against his shoulder. "Stupid vampire speed." She muttered against his shoulder, eyes half open at this point.

Though he would never allow himself to taste her blood, unless like before it meant saving her life so he didn’t spend to much time speculating on it after she got out of her minor surgery. Her scent was much easier to deal with then it had been, but actually smelling blood from a wound was a bit different when it came to resistance, it drug up the memory of the taste of her blood that he’d tried to forget countless times to no avail. The fact that she had unwavering trust in him helped with the resistance no matter how many times he’d tried to tell her that a bit of fear was good for her, she never listened. When she woke once again, this time asking him what was so funny, he took his eyes off the road for a moment (even at this speed he didn’t need to watch it completely) “Nothing important.” Edward said, he wasn’t going to tell her that he found it amusing that she kept dosing off because of the medication and exhaustion from the day. When she made a sound that didn’t sound approving he looked over at her again, “Something wrong?” he asked her softly before he noticed she was drifting off once again and he couldn’t help but smile.
It wasn’t hard to tell that Bella was feeling a little under the weather and not exactly like herself, hopefully she’d be more comfortable when they got inside the house. Edward wasn’t just going to let her sit on the cool and probably damp ground and sleep for a couple of hours, he was sure that she would find herself more uncomfortable when she woke up then when she went to sleep. Instead of just asking if she wanted assistance like he usually did, he knew she’d refuse so he just took it upon himself to get her off the ground and into the house. “You’ll probably change your mind later.” he said when she told him that she was fine right where she was, though he didn’t wait much longer to scoop her up off the ground and stand up with her. He smiled when she protested against his actions, “You’ll thank me later.” he told her as she rested against him and he walked towards the entrance to the cottage, “It is quite the inconvenience isn’t it.” he said with a grin as he opening the door and stepping inside with her.

If he could just put the amount of trust she had in him, into trusting himself, things would be a lot less stressful. Though not everything was bad, he just had a lot of self-doubt. Which something she could see him trying to work on, and she helped him whenever she could and when he'd listen to her. He was just as stubborn as she was, and that was not a good thing. When she had first driven in a car with him, she had freaked out quite a bit about his speed. Now though, she wasn't worried at all. So when he took his eyes off the road to look at her, she didn't pester him to keep an eye on the road. Not feeling like speaking when he told her that nothing was funny, she just grunted in response before closing her eyes again. After swallowing her blood, she heard Edward ask her if something was wrong, "I swallowed my blood." She muttered, not bothering to talk at a normal tone as she really didn't feel like talking in the first place right now. Plus, she was sure he could hear her crystal clear. Once there was silence again, she fell back asleep.
While Edward felt compelled to get her inside, she herself was not in the mood to move right now so instead she laid on the floor. In a bit of a grumpy mood for whatever reason, she had been a bit turned off by Edward not even asking if she needed help and just took matters into his own hands. She was too tired to really show how pissed off she felt. "Doubt it." She muttered when he told her that she'd probably change her mind later about wanting to stay out here. When he picked her up she felt like she was going to fall back wards and brought her arms, or well, arm as the other one close to his chest to stop herself. However she soon felt his arm on her back and realized that she wasn't going to fall. She shook her head a little bit when he told her that she'd be thanking him later for not leaving her out here. "Mmmhm." Bella sounded when he asked her if his strength was such an inconvenience. Even though he wasn't serious. Once they were inside she attempted to get out of his arms, though she couldn't be too sure that he'd actually let her. "Am I allowed to have water?" She asked, rather thirsty at the moment.

Just like Edward had tried to get her to see herself differently then she did, she tried to get him to have more trust in himself. But his lack of trust in himself had been a century in the making so it was like breaking a very old habit. Not something that was easy but he’d made a fair amount of progress though he could make a helluva lot more, especially if you to ask Bella. It was just an area where he couldn’t make any mistakes since more often then not they could be deadly. That was his main problem; he didn’t like the idea of taking that chance, even if Bella had no problem with him doing so. He was glad though that she didn’t mind his driving anymore, he hated driving slow, and even if it was the speed limit he’d complain one or twice while he was driving. Deciding he’d do a better job at hiding his slight amusement with her state so that she wouldn’t see or think something was up. When she told him she swallowed her own blood, before he saw it through her eyes he didn’t see the issue with that but before he let those thoughts run he focused on the road for a moment, “Oh.” he said, not quite sure how sympathetic he could be at that point.
Edward wasn’t about to leave her outside, it wasn’t exactly the ideal atmosphere to be staying outside in and the last thing she needed was some sort of cold or something. Knowing the type of answer he would have gotten if he would have asked her if she wanted help getting inside he didn’t even bother. He’d take the possibility of her getting grumpy towards him over staying outside all day and or night. “The bed is more comfortable, you’ll see.” he told her as he made his way to the door, opening it without much issue. Accepting the strength you were given upon becoming a vampire was probably the easiest thing to accept though getting use to handling things could be quite difficult and leave a path of mild destruction. Edward laughed as she basically agreed with his commented about how inconvenient his strength could be. When he got inside Edward moved past the kitchen into the bedroom that wasn’t too far and sat her on the bed as she asked about water, “I don’t see why not, they never said that it wasn’t allowed.” Edward said still standing “Would you like me get you a glass?” he asked, figuring it would be better to ask this time then just assume the position of helper.

Bella knew that ever since Edward had become a vampire, that being able to trust himself had been hard. She also knew when she first came to town, he could not trust himself around her at all. In fact, her first day of school with him had gone completely wrong. Edward could barely sit next to her without wanting to kill her. Still, things worked out in the end. In fact, they were much better than she had expected them to ever be. Her first impression of him had been one of annoyance and slight fear, especially with his constant staring. Now she knew the reason behind it though, and she was glad to know everything about him. Bella was also glad that he could trust her enough to tell her everything. He was always so honest with her, and she appreciated that about him a lot. In return she was honest with him, more so because she sucked at lying than anything else. Though that wasn't to say that she didn't trust him, because she did, she trusted him so completely and she wished he could see how she could trust him with her life. In fact, he had saved it once before, you think that would be enough for him to realize that. She didn't respond to him when he said 'oh' after she explained to him that she had swallowed her own blood. Instead she just fell back asleep for the mean time.
At the moment, Bella couldn't see what the heck was wrong with wanting to stay outside when she was comfortable. Though she could probably fall asleep on a rock right now and not really give a damn. She hadn't gotten much sleep the night prior and she was exhausted to say the least. She needed at least 8 hours to really be able to function the next day, and she was sure she got two hours at the most. "Mmmhm." She grumbled in a slightly annoyed tone when he told her that the bed was more comfortable. She was not in the mood to really speak at the moment, so she was silent yet fuming a little as he entered the house. Of course he'd be able to open the front door without having to jostle her around, and even if he did move her it was too fast for her to even realize it. She wondered if would ever be as fast or as strong as him, though he had told her that he'd like to see her take on Emmett after she was changed. It was hard to believe someone could actually be stronger than him though, I mean...have you seen him? When he placed her on the bed she moved further onto it and let her head fall onto the pillow, though now that she was on the bed she wasn't sure if she could fall asleep just yet, even though she wanted to. "Please?" She asked when he offered to get her a glass of water. "Did you get the pills?" She asked, having forgotten that he had stopped by the pharmacy on the way home. Her jaw was beginning to throb a little, and she vaguely remembered hearing somewhere that she should take the pill as soon as she got home.
