The scene in the abandoned warehouse had been the same for the last three days, James had decided he’d be responsible and stick with the body that was withering slightly on the floor. Of course this warehouse hadn’t been chosen because it was handy, at least not entirely, the building was located in an abandoned dockyard which would make it difficult for anyone to hear the screams of the girl as his venom moved through her veins. For the first few hours after he’d dragged her to the warehouse, James had made his way back to her house. He had to make sure that he’d left nothing behind and to make it look as if she disappeared, kidnapped almost but of course there’d be no ransom nor would they ever see their daughter again. James left her house empty handed, deciding to forego taking a souvenir with him since she was coming through the change.
This hadn’t exactly been his plan, James hadn’t gone after this Isabella Swan in the first place; she’d been a sort of detour if you will. The first girl he’d has his eyes one was someone he’d actually talked over with the other two that he shared a coven with. Laurent wanted a mate, he’d actually been subtly complaining about it for a while and well James had had all that he could take. So he’d scouted out the playing field with Laurent and Victoria. The girl they’d decided on initially wasn’t an easy person to get at, she was always surrounded by someone and he hadn’t wanted to take any collateral damage or a high profile person who would draw a lot of attention once she was killed. But Isabella, she was much easier, more of the independent type so getting her alone wasn’t difficult, like taking candy from a baby. He was impressed a bit by her determination to get out of the trouble she was in but she wasn’t a match for him. She almost didn’t’ make it this far though, his restraint wasn’t as good as what it could be so she was nearly sucked dry.
Checking the watch he’d acquired not long ago he started to pace around her in a large circle, the process was almost completed which he was happy about since he wasn’t exactly patient. Absently his fingers found their way to the chain around his neck, his fingers fiddling with a set of dog tags that hung from the chain. They were his of course, he hadn’t fought in any war since well sticking a blood thirsty vampire in the middle of combat wasn’t a good idea. He’d retrieved them from some poor sucker just before the first shipment of soldiers went over seas to fight. He’d killed a happy go-lucky kid who had no idea what he was getting himself into, in James’ opinion he’d done the boy a favour.
As his fingers ran over the stainless steel tags he turned his attention onto the soon to be new born vampire on the floor. She’d been quiet for a while which was nice compared to when the process first started. This was new to him, he’d never changed a human to a vampire before, he was quite surprised that he was able to, to be quite honest. Smirking to himself James heard the final beats of her heart which caused him to move to be by her side in a few minutes. He’d spoken aloud occasionally so that she knew he was still here, he didn’t want to be attack right away knowing the deal with new born vampires and their strength and speed. He wasn’t exactly sure what her reaction would be but hopefully she wouldn’t give him too much trouble when he didn’t have the other two for assistance. ”Isabella?” he spoke aloud, unaware that the girl preferred a nickname opposed to her actual name his tone not exactly what you would call sympathetic. ”Can you hear?” he added wanting to see if she was responsive yet.

Bella had no idea that three days ago she would be in the position she was now. Withering on the cold hard floor in the most excruciating pain she could ever imagine. She still understand that this man who had bitten her was actually a vampire. Heck she didn't even know his name. She had tried desperately to get away from him when he came after her even afterwards when he had bitten her, she had attempted to get away from him but it proved to be harder, much harder, than she would've imagined to do. She screamed in both agony and hoping someone would hear her. Honestly, she wasn't sure where she was. All she knew is that no one seemed to be around. She didn't even know what day it was because it felt like she had been in this execriating pain forever. The man who had done this to her barely spoke, a few times during the past few days, weeks, whatever it was had told her that she'd be fine. He was the most sadistic person she could've ever imagined coming in contact with. How anyone could do this to someone... She still didn't understand what she had done to deserve this.
Quite a few times Bella had tried to muster up the strength to just get away from him, to get back to her parents, but she could barely breathe let alone move. As the days moved forward it became that much more painful as the venom spread throughout her entire body and she was sure someone would hear her screams, but it didn't work. She could hear the stranger moving around her in a large circle, as if impatiently waiting for something to happen. She didn't keep her eyes open, as she feared that if she looked at him for a tiny fraction of a second, he'd kill her. Though at this point, she would welcome death. Anything to get away from this horrible pain.
However, after a while the pain started to dissipate and for whatever reason the sound of the man's movement sounded so different to her ears. She could feel her heart speeding up to the point that it made it that much harder to breathe, as if she had just run a marathon. Soon after there was silence, and then she realized that her heart wasn't moving anymore and the pain was gone. Thinking she was dead, she didn't move. That was until she heard someone call her name, the man that had been here the entire time. Eyes snapping open she looked up to see the stranger who had done this and out of nowhere a snarl echoed through the room. It took her a second to realize that the sound was actually coming from her. Going on instinct her hand reached up swiftly and grabbed a hold of his neck before she shoved him, hoping to roughly throw him backwards.

James didn’t know how vampires did this more then once. It was an annoying process in his opinion, especially if you were being responsible for your creation like he believed most vampires were. Although there was that one time he’d prevented a maker from caring for his creation but James didn’t see that as his own fault. He was definitely not cut out for this sort of thing, at least not any time after this. At one point in his life, before he’d been turned into this, James cared. He actually liked to believe that he was a decent human being, but that part of him had started to slowly fade the moment he ‘woke’ from his own painful transition into this life. Now whenever he chose to recall his human life which wasn’t very often he remembered just the essentials and even those were fading quickly now, he’d had a couple of siblings who he had a feeling he’d been very close with and parents who he had the exact opposite relationship with. But aside from that it was all blurry. Everything after that though was crystal clear, it hadn’t taken him long to become what he is today.
Which is what brought him to the present and watching a young girl writher in pain on the floor. He felt no sympathy for her though he should being the reason why she was in the pain she was in. Actually he found himself wishing it happened faster, he’d wasted three days now watching over her and making sure that no one stumbled up on them, not that he would have minded a wandering human, would have made for a great snack. He was satisfied enough to get him to the point of teaching her exactly what it was she’d be eating from now on. A smirk of sorts came to his lips when he thought about how she would take that news. Surely he figured she’d be against it at first, but refusing that hunger? Well he didn’t expect her to be able to hold out too long.
Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, he though to himself stepping a little closer to her then what he’d been while he paced. His ruby eyes scanned her over, maybe grooming someone to be a vampire and teaching them what it was that they had to do wouldn’t be so bad. It could be, dare he think the word, fun? Well he’d just have to see. If it didn’t turn out to work the way he wanted it to though James could always pawn her off on Laurent, he was the one that wanted a mate wasn’t he? He should at least do some of the work, that’s how James thought of it at least.
When her eyes snapped open James stood himself up straight and moved back a couple of paces, new born vampires were so touchy at least that was his opinion after coming into contact with a few of them over the years. They really tried your patients at times. Maybe under different circumstances her snarl would have got him to back off and leave her be but it just caused him to smile slightly. Finally, they could get on with this – but those thoughts halted for a moment when he felt her fingers enclose around his neck and felt the violent shove from her. That movement caused a deep growl to come from him, catching himself before he could be tossed into anything. Calming himself down he decided to try his hand at reasoning rather then brute force like he would have in other situations. “A bit feisty aren’t we Isabella? That is your name right? Or would you prefer something different?” he said picking himself up and taking a few steps towards her but out of her reach for now. ”How are you feeling?” he asked, his voice slightly condescending.

Bella got the feeling very quickly that this man had no sympathy for what he had done to her, as all he seemed to be was impatient. What he was being impatient about was beyond her as she thought she was dying. Though three days in agony was a very prolonged death and she hoped that she would die sooner than later as the pain was too much for her to handle. Not that he seemed to mind when she screamed out in agony, he only seemed to be irritated by it. She wanted to know why he had done this to her, but she knew he wouldn't give her an answer. The sick, sadistic bastard that he was. Her back arched as pain ripped through her body and for a brief moment her eyes were open and she saw him staring at her. She did her best to glare at him before another round of pain came through her.
Even through the pain, Bella was irritated by just how impatient he seemed to be. She didn't say anything, as she was afraid to speak and only be in more pain. She had tried not to show how much agony she had been in, but at times it was too difficult to do so. Bella had no idea that all she was intended for was to be a mate for someone, and when she found out she would surely be disgusted that someone would do this to her just so some god knows how old immortal creature had a companion.
When she first awoke she was very confused and disoriented. Her eyesight, something was off. She could see everything in such clarity that it was surreal to her. However, her amazement soon faded when she realized who was still here with her. The snarl was instinctual and not something she had been expecting, in fact at first she wasn't sure where it was coming from and was surprised when she found out it was coming from her. What the hell had happened to her? When she had made that snarling sound, all he seemed to do was smile. Something she did not like at all and only made her that much madder. When he growled at her, she growled back in response, her lips curling and exposing her teeth. Getting to her feet quickly, her breathing was heavy with anger as he caught his footing and straightened himself up. When he spoke to her, using her name her eyes narrowed. "What the hell did you do to me?" She snarled out at him, her voice both holding anger and slight panic. When he asked how she was feeling in that condescending tone of his, she said nothing, she wanted her question answered and now.
