HE'S NOT LISTENING TO A WORD NOW
he's in his own world
AND HE'S DAYDREAMING
he's in his own world
AND HE'S DAYDREAMING
Why were they here? That had been the question that had been revolving throughout this vampires mind since they arrived in this little town a couple of days ago. Though a more suited question would have probably been why they were still here, yes that was a much better question. It was difficult situation in these parts before they arrived. Who would have guessed the neighbouring reservation would have had an army of overgrown dogs at its dispersal to protect the humans living there. Not understanding it fully, this vampire thought that it was quite amusing though that had only been when he wasn’t being chased off of the labelled ‘forbidden’ land by a couple of those large dogs. He’d come across beings like this once before, with a different make up but that was an actual werewolf and when he’d been travelling through Siberia, a very long time ago. He wasn’t too worried about the other coven in the area, they seemed fine with them passing through as long as they caused them no trouble, something that could be easily done.
Thinking now about nothing in particular James sat perched atop of a rock that allowed him to look out over the ocean that surrounded the outer limits of Forks and La Push. He wasn’t quite sure exactly where in the area he was not having explored it extensively but knew that he didn’t cross over into wolf country yet. It really was a nice site, he had to admit that despite all the bad weather and greenery that was around this place. Great place for vampires to lounge about though, not a lot of sun which made it easier to lure in a meal, not that James ever had a problem with getting the meal that he wanted, well save for one time a couple of decades ago.
While he was sitting there his fingers found their way to one of the chains that hung around his neck like they usually did, his crimson eyes locked on something that only he could see almost like he was in a daze but he was completely aware of everything that was going on around him. He continued to run his fingers over a set of dog tags that hung at his neck, not his of course, he’d known better then to have enlisted in the war effort at any point. They were a souvenir that he collected and held onto. They were almost like one of those tension balls that humans used, he always ran his fingers over them when in thought and for a number of other reasons.
Right now James was left to himself in the woods, but he didn’t expect to be alone for too much longer. There were times when you just had to get away with the people that you were travelling with, well most of them anyway. Today just happened to be one of those days, don’t get him wrong he enjoyed their company for the most part, but Victoria was the only one he never got tired of but he supposed that was because they were mates and very similar. It was actually her that he was waiting for, he’d mentioned where he was going to be to her before she’d gone off on her own for a little while, he figured to hunt so he expected her in the near future.
