Bella couldn't help but smile when he laughed, it was such an adorable, sweet laugh that she couldn't help it. Though she had a feeling that Edward wouldn't really do such a thing, as Alice would probably have his head for it. If it was one thing that Alice hated, it was when you were not dressed properly. Or well, more like how she wants you dressed. Trust Bella to know that. Ugh, the girl never stopped with trying to dress her up. It was rather ridiculous. Still, she loved Alice dearly, even if some of the stuff she did to her was annoying. It was true that some of the places in the cottage Bella was the really only one that used them. Though there were times when Edward would take a shower, and she was glad about that because she didn't like to see him covered in blood. She wished she could come with him, but she knew it was too dangerous for her. Though being in a house with Alice, without Edward there to protect her from her evil plans was, in her mind, just as dangerous, if not more so. She liked the fact that Edward could get a break from everyone's thoughts as she was sure that it could get rather overwhelming at times. For that she was glad that he could not hear her mind, for two reasons. One, she liked to keep certain things private, and two it could give his mind a rest. She never liked it when Edward would get to the point of his eyes being completely black and bruised underneath, even though he would try to stall his hunting trips longer than necessary. She didn't want Edward to feel guilty for leaving her to go hunt, and thats why she never told him how she was always a wreck to some extent when he was gone. She hated when he wasn't near her, and she had a lot more nightmares when he was gone. Bella hated to wake up from a nightmare and not have him there to comfort her, but she would never tell him that because she knew he would never go hunting again and that would not be good for him.
Seriously, after reading the menu, she was afraid to ever eat here during their stay. Though there were a few things that looked okay, but nothing she was in the mood for. Plus the prices were ridiculous, even if Edward would never agree. So she decided to go for something simple, and cheap. It wasn't too odd for her to be in a city, especially from growing up in Arizona. However, that particular city was nothing compared to this one. Everyone walked so fast that Bella was trying to stay at everybody's way as to not upset them. It was obvious to her that something was wrong with this place, and the people in the pizza parlor, and that had Bella worried. Especially the way Edward was acting, she could see how protective he was becoming and it only made her that more worried and anxious to get out of here. She smiled hesitantly up at him when he looked to her and smiled, though she could tell it was somewhat forced as he was way too tense to be relaxed. Smiling lightly when he said that the olive garden sounded better she continued to make her way down the street. "Okay." She said with a smile when he told her that he believed he'd be fine with taking the subway. Seeing the stairs to the subway right ahead she began to head down them, being careful not to touch the railing because god knows how many germs were on that thing. Once she was finally done with going downstairs she looked around the semi-crowded subway area and noticed what seemed to be places to get tickets. Looking at Edward she took hold of his hand and hesitantly made her way over to an available spot. Looking at the ticket stand she was a bit confused. Pressing the start button, as directed to do so on the touch screen, she then pressed the English button when it asked for her language. Rather surprised that there were choices, but then again this place got a lot of tourists from all around the world. When the next screen came up, asking which type she would like to buy it gave her three choices. 'Pay 7 dollars, get 4 rides', 'Metro card' and 'Single Ride'. A look of confusion completely took over her face as she tried to figure out which they were supposed to use. "Any idea what I'm supposed to pick?" She asked, looking up at Edward.

Edward was so used to Alice’s way with clothing that he didn’t even really notice that she had more influence over his wardrobe then he liked her to have. It wasn’t exactly something that you could help when you had someone like Alice for a sister. Living with her though for nearly fifty years though allowed you to become use to her for the most part, but she was just one of those people that you couldn’t fully get used to. He felt bad for Bella though, being Alice’s three dimensional doll and there wasn’t much she could do to get out of it, Alice had a way of convincing people to go with her. The main room in the cottage that Edward didn’t use for himself was the kitchen since human food was not appetizing at all in his mind, though occasionally he would cook her a meal. The shower was useful now and again after a hunt if he managed to get part of his meal on him. Usually though, he was a pretty clean hunter, though it seemed every time he went with Emmett that wasn’t the case. The cottage was also like a sort of haven when it came to his mind reading ability, it gave him a rest for every thought his family had passing through his mind. It was nice, the break that Bella offered him in that area even if he was always curious as to what was on her mind but he was coming to the terms that he’d never get to know unless he asked her. If his eyes didn’t give him away, Edward could easily stall hunting longer then what he did on a regular basis since he hated leaving her, but the black irises and purple bruises were really hard to ignore. And that state was slightly dangerous and he knew better then to stay in that state longer then a day or so.
Some of the things that were on the menu made what he ate sound much better then what a human would normally thing. If he didn’t understand why some people ate the food they did, this menu didn’t really clear that up for him. The prices too weren’t all that great when you considered exactly what you were actually eating. Cities weren’t new to him either, he basically grew up in one, mind you it wasn’t as large then as it is now. Cities though weren’t all that great on his mind, but he was pretty much use to the insignificant chatter at the back of his mind, at least enough so that he could push it aside and not think about it. It were the thoughts like those in the pizza parlor that Edward couldn’t ignore so easily, though those kind were rare which he was thankful for but he wasn’t going to stay here with Bella while the men in there kept thinking what they were. A big part of it was that it was degrading and she shouldn’t be subjected to it even though she couldn’t hear the thoughts, but the other reason was that he’d do something he’d more then likely regret if they stayed there any longer which was something they didn’t need at the moment. He was doing his best to relax himself but that wouldn’t be all that easy until they were out if his hearing distance of the pizza place or in a place that was crowded.
As they headed over towards the subway, Edward stayed close to Bella, it was the easiest way to make sure that he didn’t bump into anyone. Being certain not to bump into someone was for their own safety since it wouldn’t phase him at all though they on the other hand would feel it all. Walking down the stairs, Edward like Bella kept his hands off the railing though he didn’t need the balance and anything that was on the railing wouldn’t bother him, the idea of it wasn’t that pleasant. Wrapping his fingers around her hand when they headed towards the tickets stand area, he watched Bella navigate her way through the process. Looking at the screen when she asked if he knew what they should get he read over the choice, “The metro card sounds more practical” Edward said looking down at her.
(if i got that wrong let me know XD)

Bella honestly didn't like it when Alice attempted to dress her, even though she knew by now that fighting her was not going to work. Though at times, Bella still attempted to get Alice to reason. Bella really enjoyed being in the cottage, it was a nice place that was perfect for her. Even though it was a bit hard to navigate her tank of a car through the woods, she was getting better at it. Honestly, she liked how secluded it was. Even after living in such a large city back in Arizona, she enjoyed how quiet it was out here. The only thing that bothered her, if anything, was the bugs. Bella was rather worried as to what had happened back in the pizza parlor, but she was hesitant to ask Edward as he still seemed to be rather upset over it. So for now, she didn't bother to ask him. Even though she was really curious, she just hoped Edward would explain soon.
It was so stuffy down in the subway, it almost felt like she couldn't breathe. Though maybe she was overreacting a tiny bit. She was careful to stay out of the people's way when on the stairs, as some seemed to be rushing for a train and she'd rather not fall down the stairs. For one thing, it would hurt, and another thing is that would be utterly humiliating. Watching the steps as she carefully made her way down to them, she was relieved when that was over. Bella hadn't had too much trouble with getting started on getting their tickets to get onto the subway. That was until she was given three options that made no sense to her. Looking up at Edward with a confused expression she watched him as he looked over the options. "Okay." She said before pressing the button. After getting them both metro cards she walked over with him towards the turnstiles and watched the others slide their cards through before she attempted to do so. It took her a few times before some stranger came over and helped her out with it, blushing the entire time when the girl explained how to slide it through properly. When she got through she thanked the girl before taking Edward's hand and making her to the platform of which their train was supposed to come. There were quite a few others standing on the platform as well, and she had the feeling this was going to be crowded. Shifting on her feet anxiously as she waited for the train to come she noticed some others starting to move towards the yellow line. Assuming that meant the train was coming she pushed off from the support beam that she had been leading against and started to walk forward with Edward. When the train slowed and moved to a stop on the platform she moved to the side as people got off before she headed onto the train, not letting go of Edward's hand during the entire time and being careful of the gap.

Edward, though he often left Bella and Alice alone knowing they got along and he trusted Alice pretty much completely, felt quite bad when Alice decided to turn her into a three dimensional doll. But there wasn’t much anyone could do about that, Alice went with her own thoughts and she rarely listened to anyone, especially if it would be going against one of her visions. The family had been successfully secretive about the cottage before they gave it to him and Bella as a wedding gift. There probably couldn’t have been a better gift, it was perfectly fitted to them though the makeshift drive way could have been better made if there weren’t lots of obstacles to be moved but it worked. It wasn’t exactly a problem for Edward, navigating a car always came perfectly easy to him, Bella on the other hand because of her human status would have difficulty that she couldn’t help. Edward eased up a bit the further away from the pizza parlour that they got since their thoughts were becoming less and less bold in his mind which allowed him to relax a bit, “Sorry about that… their thoughts caught me off guard.” he explained not having expected to be bombard with their in appropriate thoughts, at least not from all of them.
Stepping below, down into the subway Edward was glad that he wasn’t prone to headaches when he was in a large group of people like this. He did, though focus a lot of his attention of sifting through all of them in an attempt to make them like a droning buzz at the back of his mind like he’d done while attending school. As they’d made they’re way down the Edward stayed close to her and kept his attention making sure they stayed standing, well that was more towards Bella since he was sure anyone that tried to push into him would be the one falling. When the issue of tickets came up Edward figured the one that would allow them more access would be the best choice since travelling like this while they were here for a week was easiest. After they got their card he walked with her over to where they would slide their card through. Slipping through the turnstiles after swiping his card he waited closely for Bella as she struggled with her card. When she got it working finally after getting assistance from a girl Edward took her hand and headed for the platform where the train they needed would stop. Waiting with her by a support beam he wasn’t eager to surround himself with a bunch of humans just yet, he’d save that for the actual ride on the train. When they made they’re way onto the train, Edward kept her hand in his and followed her onto the train. Hoping to find a seat he looked around as they got inside the train, spotting a couple he guided her towards them
